February 26, 2013, the grand signing ceremony for the Cooperation Framework Agreement by and between the SINOTRUK (Hong Kong) Limited and GFM & the press conference of “SITRAK” brand was held in Taibei, which officially launches the first Mainland heavy truck brand into the Taiwan market and opens up the milestone for the cross-strait cooperation in terms of heavy truck industry.
More than 200 attendees, including Yan Shiyuan (Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Shandong Provincial Committee), Zhang Xueyan (Director for Office of Taiwan Affairs of Shandong Province), Ma Chunji (Chairman of the Board of SINOTRUK (Hong Kong) Limited), Liu Wei (Deputy General Manager of CNHTC), Wang Jinping (Senior Leader of Tainwan Kuomintang), Yang Tiansheng (Chairman of the Board of EVERFORTUNE), Yang Renyu (President of GFM) and over 20 media such as ETTV, witnessed such a great moment that our cross-strait compatriots jointly promoted the development of national heavy truck industry.
Ma Chunji addresses, SINOTRUK is committed to developing the national heavy truck industry and has become the largest heavy truck manufacture base in China after a sound and rapid development with adherence to the scientific development, open minds and reform and innovation, leading its production capacity of heavy trucks of 9L or more in the industry. Last year, more than 26,000 SINOTRUK vehicles were exported to 96 countries and regions around the world, topping the Chinese heavy truck industry for eight years continuously. And also GFM is a competitive innovation company in the Taiwan auto market, having a close relationship with a variety of well-known auto brands and a professional sales team as well as perfect after-sales service network. It is believed that the cooperation of SINOTRUK and GFM, on the principle of mutual trust and benefit, will achieve a win-win situation and benefit the growth of Taiwan economy. SINOTRUK will, under the help of Shangdong Provincial Government, relevant authorities and allwalks of life, maximize the technology advantage to launch the products into the Taiwan market smoothly, thus contributing to the cross-strait economic & trade cooperation and the development of local economy.
